What does Luminula take care of?
Luminula runs scheduled emergency lighting tests and keeps digital records of the results. With an internet connection, it also sends email alerts and reports, helping you see which lights need attention.
Will it work in my building?
Luminula is designed for spaces from small premises to larger buildings. Tell us about your property and existing emergency lights, and we’ll help you check suitability and plan the installation.
Do I need a separate gateway or controller?
No. The gateway capability is built into the Luminula-enabled luminaires themselves. They communicate wirelessly, so there’s no separate gateway box, central controller or dedicated data cabling to install.
Does it need an internet connection?
Local testing continues without internet. An internet connection is needed for cloud access, email alerts and emailed reports.
Is there a monthly subscription?
No. Luminula’s cloud reports and email alerts are included with each unit, without a monthly subscription.
Can I share the test records?
Yes. Monthly and annual reports give you a clear record to share with the people who need it. Each report includes a QR code so its authenticity can be checked.
